Currently only the 32GB Wi-Fi model, which is priced at Rs 28,900, can be pre-ordered. There is also a 32GB Wi-Fi + cellular model priced at Rs 39,900 but it isn’t listed for pre-order as of yet.
The new iPad replaces the iPad Air 2. Apple has only renamed it, bumped up the SoC to the A9 chip found in the iPhone 6s lineup and has replaced the LCD which is now brighter. The new model is slightly thicker and fractionally heavier than the device it replaces.
Apart from the 32GB models, the new iPad was also announced on 128GB Wi-Fi as well as Wi-Fi + cellular models.
“iPad is the world’s most popular tablet.
